Uplink 63: Charting The Expanse and Beyond

Don’t miss Uplink episode 63 on Thursday 17 Feb when we’ll be joined by James SA Corey – the pen name used by collaborators Dan Abraham and Ty Franck, authors of acclaimed sci-fi series The Expanse!

Award-winning TV show The Expanse – based on the series of novels of the same name by the pseudonymous James SA Corey  – is a hard sci-fi futuristic vision where humanity has colonised the solar system. Political intrigue, internal politics, credible approaches to the portrayal of spaceflight and space trade, and the implications of the discovery of alien technology are among the many things that make it so special. The show attracted a cult following following its launch on the Syfy channel in 2015 and grew into a highly-acclaimed series on Amazon Prime with an enormous global following up to its recent final season.

A sci-fi favourite with Space Rocks and its followers, The Expanse actor Dominique Tipper who played Naomi Nagata appeared at Space Rocks London live in 2019 on a panel with space science journalist and broadcaster Sue Nelson. We later welcomed Emmy Award-winning, Oscar-nominated actor Shohreh Aghdasloo, The Expanse’s Chrisjen Avasarala, for Uplink episode 24.

We’ll be live from 8pm GMT/9pm CET/3pm ET at: https://youtu.be/_ifbtj-NJQc
