We’re huge fans of Jo Durrant’s Beautiful Universe here at Space Rocks. It’s an eclectic podcast of music, arts and science – with a heavy emphasis on space science and exploration. So we were very honoured that Jo joined us at Space Rocks London this year to record interviews with our speakers and panellists for the 60th episode of her podcast. Beautiful Universe really is one of the BBC’s best.

Listen here for Jo’s backstage interview (34 minutes in) with journalist, broadcaster and writer, the brilliant Sue Nelson. At Space Rocks London, Sue appeared alongside Dominique Tipper – star of acclaimed sci-fi series The Expanse – on the Space Rocks London panel all about the future for womenkind in space. Sue is author of the official biography of Wally Funk, the inspirational Wally Funk’s Race for Space: The Extraordinary Story of a Female Aviation Pioneer (an ideal Christmas present if you haven’t read it yet).
